Copycat.

It may come as a surprise, but I've not done anything noteworthy lately. The best I've managed is to stalk similar looking mithra in whitegate and dress the same as them.

Waiting for Salvage, I noticed my shadow looks like a wierd sorta alien spaceship when light is coming from overhead. It provided a few moments of amusement for me. Speaking of Salvage, we're having to cancel runs because we keep getting only 5/6 for runs ;|.

I forgot, I did do something after all; I've used up all my beastman seals on Up In Arms. Obviously no clubs dropped else I'd have said something, but at least there's some small consolation in getting 40~60k per run. Our last run we managed it in 4:23 as a duo, when the previous record (3:57) was set by a group of 3. With INT potions and better level capped gear (not that I care enough to buy any) it should be easy to beat 4 mins as a duo.

SIDEWINDAH

Nothing interesting to put here, but it's been a while since I wrote anything so here is a list of stuff I did recently. What a bore.

SKILLUPS PEW PEW
Archery > 198 (cap: 210)
Throwing > 173 (cap: 189)
Parrying > 175 (cap: 200)
Staff > 220something (retribution soon!)

Still no martial master kupopower :(

Camping Rare/ex stuff for a mule I hardly use! 0/1 then death warped after a rampage around castle oztroja.

Campaign! Wasted time doing battles to find I already had the max medal rank. Maat is a beast though.

Standing in Whitegate! No 3rd mithra with the mage gear from MKD/ACP came along :\

Dynamis! I was almost entertained for the first hour and a half. Melee gear for next city run? (not windy though, fuck yags)

More twins! (DRG edition)

Well...they're close

Bastok have managed to come second in conquest, but still only have control of three areas, two of which I already had the outposts for :\

Aragoneu was the only OP I didn't have. Still no northlands of course!

Spent 2ish hours skilling up, I didn't really notice much of an increase from the skillup mog tablet.

10 levels on staff, which is about typical for that amount of time (I wish I'd kept track better). And at least 1~2 parrying which is more that I'd usually get I guess.

So not a very noticeable enhancement, but this is FFXI, what else could I expect?

Twin #2

Hopefully I can get a collection going!

I killed this bird guy for Sandy mission 9-1. He has a friend, but you can just zone them both and come back to claim the main one, leaving the other to depop while you kill it. He doesn't hit exceptionally hard, but will break stoneskin in 3 hits so /nin is worth having, although I didn't try supertanking him. It's easy to dot/zone him if you're not too confident, but it will go much faster kiting and nuking, as he doesn't resist much at all and has pretty low HP.

The only rough part was the initial pull, because he decided to Horde lullaby me, so I had to run to the zone with both of them beating on me. Had about 30% HP left when I made the zone, despite having capped stoneskin, phalanx and shadows etc (but I did stop to bind him before zoneing, which might be unneccessary).

He used lullaby about 3 times in the fight, but I just let him wake me up again and bound > out of range > rebuffed.

Easy! 9-2 doesn't look terrible for soloing, it's just keeping the NPC alive for the 2nd part of the fight is what makes it tricky. And with no outposts still, I don't fancy running down to Fei'Yin 100 times to check if it's doable.

Twins!

To confirm the authenticity of my twin, I had to do our secret handshake. I see how it could be mistaken for something else, but any onlookers didn't seem too bothered by it.

I managed to finish the last WoTG mission, so here's a picture of a horny Elvaan chick to commemorate the occasion.
