Paragon of Dragoon Excellence.

DRG is now 50, waiting on me to level /sam before carrying on. Thrown my AF weapon as it's useless now and completed all my AF quests. The helm is the only really useful piece of the whole set, and even then only for soloing (although the 'enhances jump effects' on the boots looks interesting, it's not exactly clear what they enhance). I could end up throwing it all away except the head, so I don't have to bother with the storage NPC every time I want to solo. But I need to get to a level where I can wear it before worrying about that.

NM fights were typically easy, although I did need to get help for the final NM fight (2 shadows) because I had to be on DRG to spawn them.

Many thanks to Flam and Xarp for killing the gimp fomors for me!

Technically, I did have help doing the first AF quest, since I had to go through The Eldieme Necropolis, and because SE didn't think going to Sandy > Jeuno (to buy a hairpin) > Sandy (waiting 1 game day) > Bastok > Sandy > Eldieme wasn't enough of a pain in the ass already (in order to obtain a crappy piece of gear I'm not gonna use anyway), they obviously thought it fitting to have you find your way to the island in Batallia Downs as well. Nobody was with me at the time, so I just went afk overnight running into the door that I needed opening. I got disconnected at some point, but when I logged on, I was in the place I wanted to be - so thanks to the mystery person who opened the door for me! (whether it was intentional or not :D)

Coffer montage!

Nothing special, just the same that applies to most jobs. I did use the opportunity to get a few points off my disector's latent while farming keys though. Kuftal was surprisingly the one that game me the most trouble (as this is typically the easiest coffer to get ever...), it was never up for me, so I had to take about three trips to find it - in the process of this, I discovered to my disadvantage that the spiders there were aggressive and had to chainspell-teleport myself after running into a gang of four of them. Ifrit's Cauldron was the one I was not looking forward to, but I ended up getting really lucky and the coffer popping in a relatively easily accessable place.

Skillawps. My NPC is about 1/4 way to 65 now, I should look into doing his next limit break quest.

In other news... I didn't win the Mog Bonanza. I'm quite disheartened by this, although I have no idea why I was expecting to win in the first place... I did however get an exp scroll for each of my mules. 30k well spent. At least I don't have to choose between D.tabard, Nashira and Homam legs on rank 3.

Arrapago Remenants puts out!
But not what we need, I think this is our 3rd or 4th Ares body 35, but still no Morrigans. Fucking rats.

I've been farming some Zeni recently, not sure if I'll get chance to do the NMs any time soon, but it would be nice to get some points ready. There's only two items from ZNMs that I'm interested in particularily: Aurum Sabatons (drg, nice Dusk/Amir hybrid) and a Muse Tariqah (rdm, max mnd will then be at +73).

Sanraku had a Diremite fixation for about 4 days, so I spent several hours running to/from Aydeewa Subterrane leaving me with enough Zeni for three tier I NMs.

So there's actually a reason to do Chocobo racing now?

Almost.

I assume it comes from racing, which certainly is a nice addition to the previously-attainable pile of nothing.

Dynamis-Xarcabard!

This very well could be sporting a D. Tabard/Chapeau before me. Waaah indeed.

Nice run, not too many drops (surprise) but Arcadian finally got his Wyrm Armet (I gathered he'd been after it for a while before I joined, so it was nice to see). Can't remember much else, some MNK went to auto sort, BRD dropped, and this:

My turn to stun didn't even come around this time, so I just CS stunned some normal mobs later on for giggles.

More Campaign!

Only just managed the half-way point to my promotion after spamming all 7 ops (which was a pain with the city constantly under siege) and a ton of battles. Things are improving though, there was a reasonable selection of ops available compared to what was there before.

It made me wonder why no-one else would engage the boss other than me...

Turns out he keeps summoning elementals which spam -aga nukes and pop underneath the bridge so no-one can get at them. I ended up going down after converting and some perfectly timed nukes broke my fresh stoneskin before I could cure myself. For shame.

Meriting! (or lack thereof)

An offer I couldn't fail to refuse. I don't know if I'm just being pompous, but I really don't want to spend my time meriting at 5k/hour in just-getting-to-75 parties. Considering it's possible to get 20k+/hour with the right setup of 75's (my last outing with the LS resulted in 2 merits over the course of 45 minutes) it doesn't matter how intrugued I am by a pld/dnc, it's not worth the wasted time... I've made that mistake far too often.

I lied, and said I was supposed to be seeking on drg - despite my seacom being completely contrary to this aliby, I assumed he hadn't read it. He didn't say anything else, so I got away with it. But it didn't really end well for me, I'm just stood in Whitegate now without any kind of party :(

I might just solo DRG to 50, despite the lack of decent camps, so I can quest/store/discard my AF.

Clear!

3 months of Dynamis runs later, and I've got access to every zone, hurrah! My lastest clear was Dynamis-Buburimu and I can prove it, here:

Probably the most uneventful picture (aside from the mysteriously glowing WHM) I could have taken, but I wasn't quite ready for the boss when he arrived so I forgot to take any pictures then.

Dynamis-Tavnazia is the only zone I'm yet to clear (or even enter) but I expect it to be significantly more difficult as only 18 members are allowed entry at once however it does have some pretty nice drops (Icelands relic AF, and -1 counterparts) in there along with Hydra gear (most of it is pretty useless, but it's rare and pretty enough to stand around town in).

Not much progress in leveling on DRG since my last update, but I got 49 and went out to solo skillup until I had Penta Thrust (my target was beetles at Revelation Rock in Western Altepa Desert, were DC~T to me).

This was a suggested solo exp camp, but trying to level here would be a nightmare. Fights were very slow, and I couldn't even chain them without resting (but this might have been down to me, I wasn't trying to end fights quickly, just skillup - and was eating tacos for more survivability).
Beetles suck.

I achieved my objective nonetheless, so I'm satisfied (except I need 50 now to start questing AF). The animation is kinda crappy though. :|

Campaign is still screwed, beastmen hold everything except for the main cities, Campaign Ops have sod all options and disappear inexplicably - I was hoping this was just from the server reset after the last maintenance, but it still persists after the conquest tally so I'm guessing this is some kind of balls-up, or SE does actually hate us. I guess this is what they meant by the new 'ranking system'. Speaking of which, I've gotta start up campaign again else I'll get demoted again...yeey.
If only they'd added some of the new gear to have at least something half decent for RDM, I'd have some incentive for doing it other than soley for the sense of completion.

I could talk about the party I had on DRG that sucked, despite having our own PL and higher level DD's than the last party I had in Garlaige but that sentence about sums up the whole experience, so I won't say any more.

You do not possess a map of Quicksand Caves.

Fun finding: Instant Reraise scrolls don't have a full stop after the description.

Good god, NO!

So I got Dragoon to 48 now, and I need to get a Mythril lance before progressing further (I'm still using AF weapon, which is actually the best option until now) but I keep missing them when they go up on the AH, so I'll just wait until I can get one. Gah! I've used up my Emperor band again, so can't recharge that until the next conquest tally :/

Quicksand caves party! Was a good party, didn't last long though. Good setup, competant support (a good Galka white mage! Take that job/race stereotypes!), everyone happy, etc, etc. I got a coffer key out of it, which I'll need for my DRG AF later.

This is true: I do not. Alternatively I could use the key to remedy this problem.

Another day, and another party - this time in Garlaige Citadel.

Good setup yet again - not much backline (only a lone RDM) but we didn't get any downtime, so no problem here. Didn't help that the Paladin managed to aggro not one, but two elementals within a span of 15 minutes. We didn't have much choice but to fight it (no reraise or escape for a rdm at this level, so we'd all have to Home Point if we died) I was surprised to find out a party could actually defeat an IT elemental without a dedicated nuker to hand. We had people use elemental weaponskills (yes, there is a use for them) except mine were thunder-based, so I didn't bother.

Maintenance was due, so we had a mass log-out after two hours.

Oh, and I got my first Dynamis-Xarcabard clear with Aristocrats.

He was pretty much dead by the time it was my turn to start stunning, so I only got one cast off. It wasn't resisted so at least I did something :D
Waste of a chainspell though, and he only dropped a 100-piece. Pretty bad run for gear actually, only one AF drop (granted it was PLD, but still meh). Guess I'll only be happy when we get 12 D. Chapeaus in a single run.

As for Dynamis clears, I only need Buburimu (this weekend) and Tavnazia (unlikely :P) to have cleared every zone. Then I'll only have AF to look forward to... ._.

DRG, THF and Kirin zerg.

No invites on drg, nor enough people to make a decent party, so I went back to soloing. At 44 I decided to camp in Sauromuge Champaign [S] on beetles, having fond memories of the time I spent leveling off beetles in Vunkerl inlet.

The red marked camp is the suggested one, no extra mobs or potential aggro - just you and your beetles (which do link, so beware). The blue marked area is a stretch of beetles that could make an alternative camp, but I'm pretty sure a goblin wanders that area (also there could possibly be a sprite that occasionally comes by). I stuck with the red camp.

My trusty soloing guide warned that these hit hard at 44 so I made sure to bring some tacos (fish mithkabobs would have worked just as well at this level) which combined with cocoon made for safer fights (there were a few close calls, but no deaths thanks to the hi-potions I had from earlier Lamia 13 runs). Kills are getting slower now, but soloing is still a worthwhile activity. I hit 45, eventually tired of the slow kills so called my NPC, ate meat and blitzkrieged the bastards until my exp ring wore off.

I might try Ronfaure [S] for ladybugs and colibri, but pecking flurry looks pretty dangerous, no food will make me more vulnerable due to lower defence/kill speed and ladybugs get pretty nasty during the day. Let's hope I get a party.

I did later get a (pretty poor) party, but it was just a desperate person who didn't want to waste time seeking. Considering the circumstances (no tanks/healers) the party was ok, we at least got some exp (I got level 46) and it was better than being sat around in Jeuno staring at my moogle.

Xarp, Flam and myself went back to our 30's jobs (MNK, DNC, THF) and tried beetles in Altepa (bad) then moved to Mandies/Goblins in Yhoator Jungle (good). THF was pretty enjoyable, and did some surprising damage with SATA viper bite. But my damage sucked whenever I screwed up SATA.

I hit level 34, they both got 33. Not long to go until I finish that sub~!
Then I get to start /SAM ._.

ISLS attempted our first Kirin TP burn instead of the usual kite/skillchain/magic burst method. It took all of two minutes to go down, compared to the usual 35~50 mins.

A white mage disconnected just before we were about to pop, so I was thrown into her place. Our intention was to use Benediction on all the melee just after Kirin's Astral Flow - I, of course, didn't have Benediction, so ended up hitting Chainspell & Curaga II spam to keep people alive.

It was a great success, however by the time we had got everyone to change jobs/prepare we could have just done it the normal way, I'm sure if we try it in the future it won't take everyone as much time to prepare. The only problem is that we can't do two back to back with this method as we'll have to wait for melee's 2-hours to recharge. Much more exciting though :0

Salvage again, 5th floor Madame went alot smoother than usual, alot less charmga spam for some reason - maybe we got lucky, maybe it was because we had less DDs on her than before. We also tried coping differently with charm this time, instead of DoTing and hoping for the best, Xarp stayed out of range and kited everyone when we got charmed.

Still no drop, Salvage is a whore.

I joined a party and we completed CoP.

Thought I'd start with a nice looking screenshot. I don't think today's topic takes much explaining, really.

Pot Fight!

Went very well, with a setup of NIN, MNK, BLU, RDM, BLM, BLM. I was subbing BLM for an extra Elmental seal/sleepga, which we didn't need in the end as the first three pots were dead before the second BLM's sleep wore off. Normally, this fight requires a party to purposefully wipe/reraise/recover before finishing but we managed to complete it without a wipe. I did nothing spectacular, just acted as a curemonkey for the whole thing.

As things went so well, and we were all geared up and ready, we went straight onto the final fight.

CoP spoilers!
D:

Awesome BC, it has to be said. Slight change in the setup this time; one BLM changed to RDM and the other to RNG. We got dicked.

Well, sort of. On his second form, Promathia decided that all the DDs needed to die suddenly, so that happened. Us RDMs burnt all our MP & converts trying (and ultimately failing) to keep them alive. Got chased around a bit until Prishe finally got hate at which point nobody had MP to cure her. Fortunately, I'm awesome and remembered to bring my trusty Hi-elixir that I've had around since I did this quest so with a happy extra 500MP to play with, I kept her alive while our other RDM helped the DDs get up and recover to secure the win. Sadly I missed the killshot thanks to him throwing up magic resistance just as I start chainspell nuking. Well we won, which is what matters I guess...

There was a suspicious individual on the Manaclipper ride to Purgonorgo Isle, but it wasn't too bad if I kept to the opposite side of the boat.

I was thrown off by the confusion around Louverance's back story with the red mask Louverance and the purple mask Louverance and whatnot so I just assumed it all ended for the better.

New Gear!

So, after completing all the appropriate cutscenes, I opted for my long-awaited Tamas Ring (giving me +1 MND/INT on respective spells and -3 enmity & +30MP full time), and already regretting not choosing Rajas after 5 minutes of leveling Dragoon. As I'd promised myself I'd get a Loq. earring after completing CoP, I got a Loq. earring after completing CoP.

I paid about 617k total, which is a fair bit more than I wanted to part with, but I got impatient. :(

A tasty new fast cast enhancement, +15MP full time over my last earring, and new possibilities for convert ratio combined with Tamas? Let's see:

Uhm, not really? Before : After pic shows /whm converts now yield 1056 rather than the previous 1045, and /blm gives 1063 instead of 1047. Winnar.
I think I now need a serket ring or AF+1/Goliard body/Crimson scale mail to improve my convert ratio. I could always use a club/shield combo, but I really would rather keep a light staff on for curing afterwards (which is what I usually spend my surplus MP on anyway).

It's fine as it is really, I often find myself wasting alot of MP switching into enfeebling gear anyway. Besides, I'd rather start getting Communion earrings before a Serket ring.

Other stuff!

I've completed the Chief Sergeant quest, so I'm only two ranks from the max (excluding Captain, which I'm something stupid like 20/50 on). This time, had to make some rustkiller out of mushrooms from Adeeywa(?) Subterrane for Naja's 'spiky friend'.

I do enjoy my promotion quests.

Got a party on Dragoon, it was ok but didn't last long, we disbanded and I made another one a bit later on which was entirely Japanese bar myself, but Auto-translate was sufficient to decide on a camp.

I hesitantly invited a Warrior who told me his main weapon was a polearm (causing bad flashbacks of the ROFLWAR from the Jungles), which ended up working out very well - it turned out he actually knew what he was doing, and he consistantly outdamaged me on all but a few weaponskills, and part-time tanking with the Ninja (it might have been down to him having 2 levels on me, and my polearm skill being fairly underleveled). I was impressed nonetheless. I got 39~42 from that party, but still didn't cap polearm (was only over two or three hours). Eventually my members had to go to bed, so I went afk for a while.

Also, I observed 'lolDRG' jokes are valid cross-culturally:

Coming back later, I got an invite to an absolutely abysmal party which is still stubbornly dragging itself, half dead, its blood-filled lungs drawing in thier final, rattling gasps until the point where it will finally collapse lifeless along the long road to level 75. Then maybe I can be at peace, and go to bed.

And I'm still not going to cap Polearm before I level. What the hell am I doing wrong?

New development: our melee RDM just got himself killed converting next to a fly spamming cursed sphere, rofls.

Too late to proof read, another time. Waaah.

Something about nothing.

You'd have thought six days would have been enough for me to write something interesting, but apparantly not. The Version Update comes later today, which is always worth a mention.

What've I been up to?

Dragoon is now just into 39, despite not having a party since 35. I've been using this guide to level, else I'd never have thought to use Vunkerl Inlet as a camp.
I stayed for an extra level so not to waste my Emperor Band, and exp was still pretty decent at 38 (majority of pops were DC, but a few birds would still be EM) but I failed to cap polearm skill, so that's a fair few levels behind now. Sigil Regen and Food Duration + are great additions, although Regen can kinda screw up healing breath triggers, it wasn't often. Sigil Refresh is awesome, and I never had to stop to rest thanks to it, as well as being able to keep Cocoon up 100% of the time.

Another alternative camp to this is the Dhalmels in Sarutabarura [S]. They aren't particularily dangerous and there were a good few even match ones at 37, but I imagine they're killable at 35/36 - just need to watch out for a silence gaze attack, which is possible to avoid if you're quick, I only managed it on one out of five attacks. Echo drops and /blu are more or less essential for here, since they have a defence down move as well that Cocoon overwrites. They were missing me alot as well, so either they have poor accuracy (loldrg evasion) or just Sigil offers the same evasion/defence bonus as Signet vs. EM and lower mobs.

This area can support a ton of parties, there are plenty of Dhalmels and they're on fast repops (I'd guess 5 minutes) so competition wouldn't be a problem (like there's any competition for WoTG camps anyway) just watch out for links and the occasional Yagudo that wander into the far East area of the camp.

I also teamed up with Flam and Xarp to level some jobs in the 30's - it'd been a long, long time since I'd gotten THF to 30 and I figured I might as well take the opportunity to get it closer to 37 in case I need it for DRG. We tried worms in Attowha Chasm, but these ended up being weaker than we expected so didn't give great exp - we fought some Hecteyes as well, thanks to the joy of a PL. Eyes were bastards, but gave better exp at least. And thanks to (2) dagger merits from RDM, I could use Viper Bite at 31 so I won't need to use swords on thf anymore! Huzzah!

Campaign still sucks, I'm very close to getting Cuddles level 60 (300exp to go) before I go and do G3 with him and start seeking parties again. To my annoyance, I finally got an invite on him when I wasn't seeking (this is after a good many hours of seeking with no invites) and only 2k exp until the level cap.
Kaya still needs to earn the final medal back before the update, so I'm ready for whatever WoTG crap they decide to throw in. Sadly, I didn't manage to finish CoP before they added new missions but I'm more than happy with what progress I have made since I finished ToAU.

Sky yielded another skillup:

Three more levels on club and I'll have another happy blue number in my combat skills. Next up will either be the agonising process of capping Archery or Throwing (at least I won't have to be engaged for those though). I'll level Staff on DRG, will only need that at around 110 since it's only subjob level (whm or blm) for RDM. Shield and parrying will need dedicated skillup sessions, which I've not found time for at all recently.

Falling under the 'other misc. accomplishments' catagory is my unlocking of the Chief Sergeant quest (which is yet to be completed, I've got to do something with mushrooms in Aydeewa Subterrane).

Lol, Abquhbah. Gotta pity the poor guy.

Aaaand finally, I got a Swift Belt.

Which I'm incredibly grateful for, mine was one of two that dropped (of 5 total pops). Sadly there were no subligars that anyone wanted (lots were after THF, all that dropped were 2 DRKs and 1 BLM if I remember) I secretly wanted DRG and RDM, but neither dropped anyway. There will be other times to grab 'em. A small thing that I think is worth mentioning: do not bring Dancers to subligar/codex runs, because they fucking suck. GOD I hate dancers.

...kidding! I don't like DNC anyway but that's not the point - fomors have a non-DNC friendly move that reduces everyone's TP to 0, thus making DNC pretty useless. Plus we were low on healing (2 RDMs, 2 DNCs) so it was even more noticeable.

This puts me at 12% haste in gear on RDM (and DRG when it's 75) but I'm not sure at which point I should start using haste gear on DRG. At the moment, I think I'll use the belt from 50~ as long as I have the spell Haste on me, otherwise I'll just use a life belt. I think that 12% is ok to use for TP, maybe when I cap Polearm merits.
Can't wait to try it out! :D

As for now, A campaign battle has just started, and Cuddles is gonna get his level and ding into that ever-so-sexy Strike Subligar he's had sitting around for ages.

Chains of Promathiargh! (Warrior of the Crystal)

More progress on CoP; I've got myself access to the Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi and The Garden of Ru'Hmet after completing 8-1 with a pickup party (although the initial intention was to go from 8-1 to finish, that didn't end up happening) later managed to do 8-2 with a couple of people from the previous mission.

8-1 isn't particularly interesting, just beat up a bunch of sleep-resistant Aerns and run around sea for a bit, I also got my map for the area at the same time.

8-2 however is inside the palace itself, and requires that you escort an NPC Quasilumin in order to get through various gates that block your way, ending up with an NM fight when you reach the end. Since there was only three of us, we just decided to sleep/logout any aggro that we got, while one person just followed the NPC to its destination.

This was incredibly time-consuming and shakey at first, as we tried to logout on every mob that came after us, and eventually lost track of the NPC and had to restart the escort. The second time through, I suggested we just sleep everything and keep moving until that particular escort was complete before logging out, which made it alot smoother.
Our Corsair was extremely useful for this mission, with light shot being able to store charges now, he could sleep several at once, not needing to stop and cast (since it's a job ability) and it didn't generate enough enmity for mobs to keep chasing us after we'd got some distance away (much like repose) so I left the sleeping to him, until his recasts were down, or we encountered a light-based 'ghrah.
Of course any other sleeper would do instead of a Corsair, perhaps even one RDM would be sufficient for this strategy to work, but you would have to be careful of recasts and dark-based 'ghrahs.

The NM fight at the end wasn't too difficult, although we had a decent setup RDM-COR-NIN which is a pretty effective combination of jobs for most NM fights. It was a pain in ball form, spamming Stonega III, and I couldn't land silence so I was forced to spam cures until it changed form. Despite it being earth based, Slow II landed with a full mnd build and never had to be recast for the whole fight (I suspect earth shot might've increased the duration, or the fight was just short) it changed to hume form, where we tried to damage it as much as possible so it would use the less-threatening Invincible as its 2-hour. Instead it didn't fancy that and decided to change to spider (which has a particularily nasty Sickle Slash that ignores shadows) and used Mighty Strikes almost immeadiately. Bind resisted, but Gravity stuck and we kited it for a bit so our NIN didn't get one-shotted by that move. Fun stuff.

I imagine with more people, the mission would have only gotten harder with some getting lost/going the wrong way/dying/etc. on the escort part so I can be grateful for my relatively hassle-free attempt.

Got this after 8-1 as well, which is convenient but not entirely vital as I can just outpost warp to Tavnazia anyway, I guess this just saves me the 300 or so gil.

8-3 requires some sneaking, pretty much all up to the BC can be done solo (with some reraise/flee items or sleep spells/abilities). Although some jobs that can't sleep/flee and don't fancy dying once per floor probably would need help on it. In theory, it is possible to sneak to the top of each tower without aggro, but fast spinning Eo'zdeis are a pain (I only got past them 50% of the time undetected with +12% movement speed) so I just slept them and moved on.

Once reaching the top of my race tower, I got the title that I'd been after for a while - Warrior of the Crystal - which allows me to complete a small quest in order to be able to warp to Sky from the crags in Holla/Dem/Mea, which will save me the 10~15 minute trip and outpost warp fees to get there.

As I was on a roll, I decided to solo the prerequisite key items for the 8-3 pot fight, the Brand of Dawn/Twilight. Again, these are no problem to obtain for any job that can sleep and even that isn't a necessity this time because there are warps that (albiet disorienting) lose any aggro you may have picked up. This map was an invaluable resource, without it I might have spent hours lost in there.

Getting to the elevator was more of a problem, as there's a bunch of 'zdeis that you must sneak past, as the door closes if they move off of the starting points:

It's fairly simple to sneak past them undetected if you approach the elevator from the North, as they all spin quite slowly, and you can run straight through if you time it right. Of course it is always possible to just put reraise up and let them kill you on the other side of the room, but where's fun in that?

Campaign has drawn me back in, it being over a month since I got the top medal and over a month since I did any ops/battles I've had it taken off me, so I spammed some supplies ops to use up my credits, and a couple of battles one having a 30 minute wait between the normal mobs dying and the boss showing up...sigh. Since supply runs for Bastok involve a fucking stupid 4 hour walk across the zone and back, Cuddles had to look for another easy one to spam, which ended up being Steel Resolve:

This just requires you to run to a Nation-controlled outpost and talk to the guard there to start a fun little minigame where you name a type of crystal for each NPC to use as they run back and forth from the fortifications.

Dragoon has reached 33 from supply Ops, during which I noticed the Dhalmels in Saruta [S] were prime targets (T~IT range for a 32 character) for a 31-34 party as an alternative to Altepa or Sauromuge Weapons before Garlaige Citadel.

The upcoming Version Update still doesn't excite me all that much - MNK, PLD and BRD are all getting new abilities/spells (kick attacks ability, damage reflection spell, and single-target song ability respectively) Kick attacks sounds fun for Cuddles, and Group II merit cap increase sounds like more of a chore than an upgrade (I'm now considering Slow II 5/5 and Phalanx II 5/5, fuck para. I'll obviously wait until people merit/test different spells, I don't fancy wasting my own merits). But it annoys me when I see 'Battle Adjustments' on a POL announcement, because every time I get my hopes up for some sort of RDM adjustment and am crushed every single time. They also finally announced they're making Einherjar more worthwhile, which is really needed. As it stands, it's all or nothing - and even if you win, it's most likely nothing. Now at least you can get ichor from killing the normal mobs, and it's less demanding to fight Odin now as well. However no explicit mention of the crappy abjuration drop rate being changed, just mention of new items dropping - speculated already to be for the Nyzul Relics. Not that I care about those, I don't even like the look of the RDM one, and I'm yet to do even one Nyzul assault (although I remember Goliard body/feet looking pretty nice stat wise, I really can't be bothered to start that up as well).

Many words today, perhaps too many...
